Adams County Tax Sale Information
Adams County will hold its annual Delinquent Property Tax Sale Auction on the first Monday in March, at 10:00 AM at the Hastings Public Library. Registration must be completed no later than Friday, February 21, 2025, and all registered companies will receive their bidder numbers by Thursday, February 27

Terms of Sale in Adams County:
Registration Fee: $25.00 per company (non-refundable).
Certificate Fees: $20.00 per certificate (non-refundable upon redemption).
Assignment Fees: $20.00 per assignment.
Pre-registration Deadline: February 21, 2025.
Bidder Assignment: Numbers will be assigned randomly and provided by noon on February 27, 2025.
Sale Process:
The county will select properties in order based on the assigned bidder number.
The auction will continue until bidders purchase all properties or stop placing bids.

The county will update the final list on February 28, 2025.
How to Participate:
Register Online: Submit the registration form and W-9 form for each company by February 20.
Pay Registration Fee: $25 per company (non-refundable).
Receive Bidder Number: Assigned randomly and provided by February 26.
Participate in the Auction: Begins at 10:00 AM on the first Monday in March.
