Cameron County Tax Sale Information
Cameron County will host its upcoming Delinquent Property Tax Sale on the first Tuesday of the Month, as an online auction at the Cameron County Auction Site. Registration is required prior to the auction start date. The auction will be held on the official online auction website and begin at 10:00 AM CT, concluding at 4:00 PM CT.

Properties are sold as-is, where-is, without warranty.
The Sheriff of Cameron County conducts the sale in accordance with the Texas Property Tax Code Sections 34.01(a-1) and 34.05(d).
Successful bidders must pay the remaining balance of their bid within 24 hours after the auction closes.
Acceptable payment methods include wire transfer or a cashier’s check. They do not accept personal checks or international funds.
You must make a 5% deposit of the intended bid prior to the auction.
How to Participate
Register at least five (5) business days before the auction on the official auction website.
Make a deposit of at least 5% of the anticipated total bid. They accept ACH and wire transfers, and we process ACH deposits within 5 business days.
Review property details, including liens or encumbrances, using available online resources.
Place bids through the proxy bidding system, which automatically bids up to your highest set amount.
