Washington St.\, Urbana\, IL 61802. Registration opens on October 11\, 2024\, with the auction beginning promptly at 9:00 AM. This event will continue until all delinquent properties are sold. \nKey Auction Details:\nDate: October 31\, 2025\nLocation: Shields-Carter Meeting Room\, 1776 E. Washington St.\, Urbana\, IL\nTime: 9:00 AM\nRegistration Deadline: October 30\, 2025\, at 4:30 PM \nTerms of Sale:\nA $500 deposit is required for registration\, and the buyer must check in with a signed check (leaving the amount blank) payable to Champaign County Collector. \nThey will add a 10% buyer’s premium to the final purchase price\, with additional fees such as: \n$20.00 Indemnity Fee \n$10.00 Tax Sale Automation Fee \n$60.00 Interest Fee \n$4.00 County Clerk Fee \nPayment is due on the day of the sale\, including taxes purchased\, penalties\, and fees. Acceptable forms of payment include cashier’s checks\, certified funds\, and wire transfers. \nHow to Participate:\nRegister with the Champaign County Treasurer’s Office by October 30\, 2025.
