Amite County Tax Information

Amite County will host its annual Delinquent Property Tax Sale on April 7, 2025, at the GovEase. Registration will open on March 10, 2025, and will close on April 8, 2025. The auction will begin at 9:30 PM CST on April 7, 2025.

Terms of Sale:

A 10% deposit of your desired bidding amount is required to participate.

You can only make deposits via e-check/ACH or wire transfer. They do not accept Credit cards and debit cards.

The auction includes real estate and mobile homes with delinquent taxes.

The buyer’s premium applies (specific fees may vary).

Successful bidders must pay in full at the close of the auction, including the buyer’s premium and deed recording fees.

They sell the Properties as-is, with no guarantees as to condition or title. They encourage bidders to conduct a title search and physically inspect properties before bidding.

Mobile homes have a different redemption process and do not offer a redemption period under state law.

How to Participate:

Register by submitting the required documents and paying the deposit by April 8, 2025.

Bidders can pre-bid starting April 5, 2025, through the GovEase online platform.

After registration, you will receive approval to participate in the auction.
