Ector County will host its quarterly Delinquent Property Tax Sale on First Tuesday of the month, at the West Door of the Ector County Courthouse, located at 300 North Grant, Odessa, Texas. Registration will take place prior to the start of the sale, with the auction commencing at 10:00 AM.

The sale is conducted as a public auction, with properties awarded to the highest bidder.
Acceptable forms of payment include cash, cashier’s check, or money order, payable to the Ector County Sheriff’s Department.
A deed to the property will be issued to the successful bidder. Note that properties may be subject to redemption by the previous owner, as outlined in Chapter 34 of the Texas Property Tax Code.
Registration: Arrive early to complete the required bidder registration form with the Deputy conducting the sale. This form will be used to prepare a deed if you win the bid.
Bidding Process: The sale will follow an oral bidding format. Ensure you have your assigned bidder number ready.
Payment: Submit payment for winning bids immediately after the sale using one of the approved payment methods.
