Hall County will host its upcoming Property Tax Sale on April 1, 2025, in the Commission Meeting Room, 2nd Floor of the Hall County Government Center, 2875 Browns Bridge Rd, Gainesville, GA 30504.  The auction Starts at 10:00 a.m.

Terms of Sale:

Properties in the tax sale are sold “as-is” with no warranties. The opening bid covers due taxes, penalties, and applicable fees. Payment must be made in full by 1:00 p.m. on the sale day using cash, cashier’s check, or money order. The buyer will receive a Sheriff’s Tax Deed, which grants “defeasible” title subject to the right of redemption by the original owner or interested parties for 12 months post-sale. Redemption requires payment of the purchase amount, any additional taxes paid, and a 20% premium.

How to Participate:

Prepare: Review Hall County’s guidelines, including redemption and foreclosure information, prior to bidding.

Register: Fill out a Bidder Registration Form on the morning of the sale starting at 9:00 a.m.

Bidding: Attend the auction at 10:00 a.m. and bid in whole-dollar increments. All sales are final, with payments due immediately following the auction.
