Spotsylvania County will host its live Tax Sale Auction on April 3rd, 2025, at The Holbert Building, 9104 Courthouse Rd., Spotsylvania, VA 22553. Registration will be available on-site at the auction location, with the auction starting at 11:00 AM EDT.

Terms of Sale:

Payment: Full payment is required on the day of the sale by Cash, Cashier’s Check, or Money Order

Buyer’s Premium: 15% Buyer’s Premium

Deed Recordation Fee: $150.00

Minimum Bid: $1,500 or 50% of the parcel’s assessed value, whichever is greater

Property Condition: All properties are sold “as is,” “where is,” subject to any restrictions, encumbrances, easements, or conditions of record or not of record. Properties will be confirmed by Spotsylvania County Treasurer, Honorable Larry Pritchett.

How to Participate:

Register: You must register on-site before the auction begins.

Bid: During the live auction, place bids for 35 lots available for sale.
