Tazewell County Tax Information

Tazewell County will conduct its 2024 payable 2025 Delinquent Property Tax Sale Auction on Monday, October 20, 2025, at the Tazewell County Justice Center, 101 South Capitol, Pekin, IL 61554, in the Community Room. Registration begins at 8:00 AM, and the auction starts at 10:00 AM. The event will continue until all listed properties are auctioned off.

Terms of Sale

You must pay a $100.00 registration fee, which covers a printed and emailed list of delinquent parcels. Submit this fee with your completed registration form and W-9.

Submit your registration by 4:30 PM on October 6, 2025, to participate. If your form, W-9, and fee arrive after this date, you won’t be able to bid. Attendees who register and place a bid will receive a refund of their registration fee.

Pay for winning bids with a signed blank check at the auction’s conclusion.

Buyer Obligations

Registering buyers must follow Illinois law, ensuring no collusion or bid-rigging during the auction.

One person per registration may place bids.

Tax certificates will use the information provided on your registration form.
