Wood County will hold its Delinquent Property Tax Sale Auction on November 4, 2025, at the official door of the Courthouse. Registration must be completed as required by the county Tax Assessor-Collector, with bidding beginning at 1:30 PM.

Terms of Sale
No Warranties: All properties are sold “as is, where is,” with no guarantees regarding title, location, or condition. Buyers assume full responsibility for researching liens, encroachments, and any legal claims on the property.
Payment Requirements: The winning bid amount must be paid in full. Taxes beyond the minimum bid amount may still be due.
Buyer’s Responsibility: Buyers are responsible for verifying if properties have access to water or wastewater services, which may affect residential usability.
Registration Requirement: As per Texas Property Tax Code Section 34.011, if adopted by the county, bidders must register with the county Tax Assessor-Collector annually.
