Advance Deposit: A deposit of $200 or 5% of the anticipated high bid (whichever is greater) is required. Make deposits via ACH at least four days in advance or deliver a cashier’s check or money order to the Clerk’s Punta Gorda office no later than one hour before the auction.
Winning bidders must pay the final amount, including state documentary stamps ($0.70 per $100 of the bid) and recording fees, within 24 hours of the sale.
The seller offers properties as-is, providing no guarantees about their condition, title, or liens. It is the bidder’s responsibility to conduct all due diligence before bidding.
