Dodge County will hold its annual Delinquent Property Tax Sale on first Monday in March, at 8:30 AM in the Dodge County Board Room, 435 N Park Ave, Fremont, NE. Registration is required, and bidders must pre-register by February 28.

Terms of Sale:

Registration Requirements: Bidders must submit a W-9 or W-8BEN form and provide a Tax ID or Social Security number. Submit registration forms to the Dodge County Treasurer by February 28.

Tax Sale Purchases: Buyers must attend in person; the County does not allow online, phone, or fax purchases.

Payment Requirements: Winning bidders must leave a signed blank check payable to the Dodge County Treasurer to cover all taxes, fees, and interest.

Subsequent Taxes: Buyers must pay any additional delinquent taxes as they become due during the three-year redemption period.

How to Participate:

Pre-register by February 28 by submitting the required registration form and W-9 or W-8BEN form to the Dodge County Treasurer’s Office.

Arrive early on the first Monday in March for check-in at 8:00 AM. You will receive a bidder number and an updated parcel list.

Participate in the auction using the round-robin format. Each bidder will select one parcel at a time in the order determined by a random drawing.

Leave a signed blank check with the Dodge County Treasurer’s Office for tax sale payments.

Keep track of redemption deadlines and any subsequent tax obligations for purchased liens.
