Saguache County will host its next Treasurer’s Tax Deed Sale Auction on May 7, 2025, with bidding conducted online via GovEase. Registration is required before bidding, with the auction beginning at 10:00 AM MDT.

Terms of Sale:

All sales are final.

Bidders will compete for Treasurer’s Deeds, representing properties with delinquent taxes, governed by C.R.S. 39-11.5.

They will add A 10% buyer’s premium to the winning bid.

Make payments via wire transfer.

They sell the Properties “as-is,” without warranties. Bidders are responsible for conducting due diligence, including property research and addressing title issues.

How to Participate:

Registration: Register at the GovEase Auction Site before participating.

Deposit: Submit the full deposit amount via wire transfer before they approved to bid. For example, they require a $300,000 deposit to bid up to that amount.

Payment: Complete payments via wire transfer. They do not Accept Personal checks, credit, or debit cards.

First Right Claims: Register and claim parcels before April 28, 2025, for First Right Claims. Pay for these by 4:30 PM CST on April 28
