Dimmit County will hold its Delinquent Property Tax Sale on the first Tuesday of the month at the Dimmit County Courthouse, located in Carrizo Springs, Texas. The auction will begin at 2:00 PM CT, and all bidders must register before the sale starts.

Registration Requirement: Bidders must register in person with the Sheriff or Constable before bidding begins.
Payment Methods: Winning bidders must pay by mail within three days of the sale or in person. Acceptable payment methods include money orders or cashier’s checks made payable to PBFCM. Cash will not be accepted.
Payment Deadline: If payment is not received by the end of the business day on the Friday following the sale, the property may be reoffered for sale.
Deed Information: Properties are sold as-is with a Sheriff’s or Constable’s Deed without warranty. Title insurance may be difficult to obtain.
Redemption Period:
Post-Judgment Taxes: Additional taxes, including municipal liens and water district assessments, may be due beyond the minimum bid amount.
Register in Person – Arrive early at the Dimmit County Courthouse and check in with the Sheriff or Constable conducting the sale. Bring a valid government-issued ID.
Bid on Properties – The auction happens live, and bidders must place their bids in person.
Complete Payment – Winning bidders must pay by mail or in person within three days of the sale using money order or cashier’s check, payable to PBFCM.
