Potter County will hold its upcoming Tax Foreclosure Property Sale on the first Tuesday of the month, on the Courthouse steps at a location designated by the Commissioners’ Court. The auction will begin at 10:00 a.m., and all prospective bidders should complete registration and research in advance.

Sale Format: The tax sale is conducted by the Sheriff or Constable and is strictly “as is,” “where is,” without any warranty. Winning bidders will receive a Sheriff or Constable’s deed, but no guarantee on the title or property condition is provided by Potter County or the auction organizers.
Buyer Responsibility: Bidders must independently verify title, property location, and any existing encroachments or liens. Conduct due diligence, including title research and physical inspection, before bidding, as Potter County cannot guarantee any property aspects..
Outstanding Taxes: Any additional taxes owed beyond the minimum bid amount are the responsibility of the purchaser and must be paid separately.
