Caldwell County will host its Delinquent Property Tax Sale on first Tuesday of the month, online at Caldwell County Sheriff’s Sale Auction. Registration must be completed prior to the sale, with the auction starting promptly at 10:00 AM Central Time.

Bidding Requirements:
All bidders must register at least five business days before the auction on the online platform.
A deposit equal to 5% of the bidder’s intended total bid must be submitted prior to the auction via ACH or wire transfer.
Payment Details:
Winning bidders must pay the remaining bid amount within 24 hours via cashier’s check or wire transfer to the designated payee.
If a personal check is used, the deed processing may take longer to complete as the funds must clear before the deed is finalized.
Property Deed:
Successful bidders will receive a Sheriff’s Deed, issued without warranty of any kind. The deed may take 3–5 weeks to process.
All property is sold “as is, where is.” Bidders should conduct thorough research, including title searches, prior to bidding.
Redemption Period:
Purchased properties may be subject to a statutory right of redemption:

The auctioneer will auction properties in the sale order and award them to the highest bidder.
The auction closes once all items are completed or at 4:00 PM CT.
Post-Auction Payment:

You cannot use deposits made before the auction toward the final payment.
