Cherokee County will host its annual Tax Lien Auction on April 30, 2026, at 10:00 AM CDT. The auction will be conducted online via GovEase, with registration open from April 1, 2025, at 8:30 AM to May 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM CDT.

Terms of Sale:

Registration: Bidders must submit all required documents for manual review. Once approved, they will send an email notification.

First Right Claims: Cherokee County will handle first right claims in the office. Claims can be made between March 30th and April 23rd at 4:00 PM. Make sure to pay for any parcels purchased in this manner in full by April 23rd at 4:00 PM.

Payment: Make winning bid payments directly to Cherokee County. Contact the county for payment instructions.

No Credit or Debit Cards: You can only make payments via the methods accepted by Cherokee County.
