Coweta County Tax Sale Information

Coweta County will host its annual Delinquent Property Tax Sale Auction on August 5, 2025, at the Courthouse Steps, 87 Newnan Station Drive, Newnan, GA 30265. Registration will be held at 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM on the day of the sale. The auction will start promptly at 10:00 AM.

Terms of Sale:

The starting bid will be the amount of delinquent taxes due plus associated costs such as penalties, interest, and additional fees.

Properties sold are “as is,” and the purchaser assumes responsibility for any subsequent taxes, liens, or encumbrances.

Purchasers must pay in full immediately following the auction. They accept payment in cash, certified check, money order, or personal check.

Failure to comply with payment terms will result in forfeiture of the deposit and eligibility for future sales.

Buyers should thoroughly research properties before bidding, as the sale offers no warranties regarding property titles.

How to Participate:

Step 1: Complete the Bidder Registration Form.

Step 2: Submit the registration form to [email protected] by July 31, 2025. You can register in person between 9:00 AM and 9:45 AM on the day of the sale.

Step 3: Pay the $100 registration fee before the sale.
