Terms of Sale

Deposit Requirements:

• Properties appraised ≤ $10,000: $2,000 deposit
• Properties appraised > $10,000 but ≤ $200,000: $5,000 deposit
• Properties appraised > $200,000: $10,000 deposit

Deposits must be made in cash or certified check payable to the Trumbull County Sheriff and submitted by 2:30 PM on the day of the sale. Failing to make the deposit within the deadline may result in contempt of court and loss of the opportunity to purchase the property.

Balance Due: The remaining balance must be paid within 30 days of the confirmation of sale via cashier or certified check.

• Properties are sold as is without warranties or guarantees.
• Buyers are responsible for verifying all liens, back taxes, utility bills, or assessments not covered by the sale proceeds.
• Entering the property without permission before the sale is prohibited by law.

How to Participate

Attend In-Person:
This auction requires in-person participation. They do not Accept Remote or online bids. Arrive early to register at the location and ensure you have the required deposit funds ready.

Property information is available in the Trumbull County Legal News and on the Trumbull County Sheriff’s website three weeks prior to the sale. Drive by the property to assess its condition, but do not enter or trespass.
