Terms of Sale

Buyers must pay the full purchase price within 5 business days.

Acceptable payment methods include certified check, debit/credit card, or wire transfer (no cash or personal checks).

A 10% buyer’s premium applies to all purchases, plus a $30 deed recording fee and current year property taxes.

Property sells as-is, based only on the legal description. Buyers must research zoning, occupancy, and title matters before bidding.

Quitclaim deeds convey the county’s interest. Title insurance may require a quiet-title action at the buyer’s expense.

Create your account at www.tax-sale.info. Set up registration at least 48 hours before the auction.

Pre-authorize a $1,000 deposit on a Visa, MasterCard, or Discover card (or mail in a $1,000 cashier’s check). This deposit authorizes bidding.

Advance bidding opens 30 days before the sale. You can adjust your maximum bids anytime until the live auction begins.

Active bidding starts at 10:00 a.m. EDT on August 22, 2025. Bids are binding contracts.

If you cannot use the website, you may place an absentee bid by calling 1-800-259-7470 with the same $1,000 deposit requirement.
