Warren County will host its annual Real Estate Tax Auction on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at the Warren County Municipal Center, located at 1340 State Route 9, Lake George, NY 12845. Registration starts at 8:00 AM, and the auction begins at 10:00 AM. The event will continue until all properties are sold.

Terms of Sale:

They sold off all properties as-is, where-is, and subject to existing easements, restrictions, and other recorded agreements. Each successful bidder must sign a Memorandum of Purchase Agreement at the time of sale and agree to all terms of the auction.

For bids exceeding $1,000, you must pay a 10% deposit and an additional 6% buyer’s premium at the auction.

Bidders must pay for bids under $1,000 in full at the time of sale, which includes a 6% buyer’s premium. They can make payments using personal checks, cash, or certified funds.

Bidders must pay the remaining balance within 45 days after the auction using a bank check, certified check, or cash.

Failure to comply with payment deadlines will result in the forfeiture of the deposit and buyer’s premium, and the property may be offered to the second-highest bidder.

How to Participate:

Interested buyers must attend the auction in person. Registration will be available on-site starting at 8:00 AM. Each participant must be ready with a valid form of payment as outlined in the terms of sale.
