Kittitas County Tax Sale Information

Kittitas County will host its annual Real Estate Tax Foreclosure Sale Auction from November 13, 2024, at 9:00 AM MST, to November 18, 2024, at 4:00 PM MST. The sale will be conducted online through Public Surplus.

Terms of Sale

Deposit: You must provide a bid deposit. The auctioneer will refund the deposit if no default occurs or if the bidder does not win the auction.

Payment Methods: You must make full payment via wire transfer within 5 business days of the auction closing. They will not accept partial payments, and we may ban non-paying bidders from future sales.

Property Condition: The sellers sell properties “as is, where is” without warranty. Buyers must conduct thorough research on properties and ensure their suitability before bidding.

How to Participate

1. Register: Register for the auction on Public Surplus before the bidding start date of November 13, 2024.
2. Bid: Bids can only be placed online. Proxy bidding is available to automatically increase your bid.
3. Full Payment: The winning bidder must complete the payment by wire transfer within 5 business days.
4. Receive Title: The county will mail the tax deed within 30 days of the auction close.
