Alachua County will host its Delinquent Property Tax Sale on April 14, 2026, at alachua.realtaxdeed.com. Registration and deposits must be completed before the sale, which starts promptly at 10:00 AM ET.

Terms of Sale

The sale is conducted in accordance with Florida Statutes, Chapter 197, and properties are sold to the highest bidder.

Advance Deposit: Bidders must post a deposit of $200 or 5% of the anticipated bid (whichever is greater). Deposits must be received by 3:00 PM on the last business day before the auction if hand-delivered or 4 days in advance for ACH payments.

Final Payment: Winning bids, including fees and documentary stamps, must be paid in cash, cashier’s check, wire, or Realauction collected funds within 24 hours.

Sellers sell properties as-is without offering warranties or making representations about their condition, marketability, or title. Buyers must conduct their own due diligence.

How to Participate

Register Online
Create an account at alachua.realtaxdeed.com to obtain a username and password. You must submit separate deposits to participate in each sale.

Submit Deposit
You can make deposits via ACH (electronic check), cash, money order, or cashier’s check. ACH deposits clear in 4 business days, and we must receive hand-delivered deposits by 3:00 PM on the business day before the sale.

Review Property Information
Access case files online to review property details, legal descriptions, and opening bids. Perform independent research, including title searches, with assistance from professionals as needed.

Participate in the Online Auction
Bidders place proxy bids online. The system increases bids incrementally by $10 until it reaches the maximum bid.

Complete Payment
Winning bidders must pay the balance, including fees and documentary stamps, by 10:00 AM ET the next business day after the sale.
