Gadsden County Tax Sale Information

Gadsden County will host its Tax Deed Auction on October 1, 2025, on the south steps of the Gadsden County Courthouse. Registration will take place in Room #102 between 8:30 A.M. and 9:45 A.M., with the auction starting promptly at 10:00 A.M.

Terms of Sale:

All bidders must register on the day of the auction by 9:45 A.M. and post a $200 cash deposit.

Successful bidders must pay a non-refundable deposit of $200 or 5% of the final bid amount (whichever is greater) immediately after the auction.

Full payment, including the final bid amount, documentary stamp tax at $0.70 per $100, and recording fees, must be made within 24 hours.

Failure to pay will result in forfeiture of the deposit and disqualification from future auctions.

How to Participate:

Register in Room #102 on the day of the auction between 8:30 A.M. and 9:45 A.M.

Provide a $200 cash deposit during registration.

Attend the auction on the south steps of the Gadsden County Courthouse starting at 10:00 A.M.
