Dixie County Tax Sale Information

Dixie County will host its next Tax Deed Auction on June 10, 2025, outside the main entrance of the Dixie County Courthouse, located at 214 Northeast Highway 351. Registration opens on the day of the auction at 10:30 AM, with the bidding commencing at 11:00 AM.

Terms of Sale:

A $200 deposit or 5% of the winning bid, whichever is greater, is required to participate.

All payments, including the bid amount, recording fees, and documentary stamps, must be made in certified or cashier’s checks within 24 hours.

Winning bidders are responsible for current taxes and, if applicable, 1/2 of the homestead assessed value of the property.

Bidders are required to register on-site at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the auction.

How to Participate:

Register at the Dixie County Courthouse before 10:30 AM on the auction day.

Bring a $200 deposit in certified funds to secure participation.
