Dickson County Tax Sale Information

Dickson County will hold its delinquent property tax sale on February 18, 2025, at the Dickson County Justice Center Chancery Court. The auction starts at 10:00 AM Central, and bidders must be present to participate. You don’t need to register.

Terms of Sale

You must pay immediately after the auction using cash, money order, or check.

The sale is final, and bidders assume all responsibilities for researching property details, including any liens.

The one-year redemption period begins when the order of confirmation is filed.

If the property is redeemed, the investor earns 1% interest per month during the redemption period.

The County does not assist with foreclosures.

You will receive a receipt at the time of purchase. Once the redemption period ends, the County will issue a deed.

How to Participate

There is no pre-registration—interested buyers must attend the auction in person to bid.

The auction follows an open, public bidding process.

The Dickson Post Newspaper will publish the tax sale list two to three weeks before the auction.
