Washington County will hold its 2025 Delinquent Property Tax Sale Auction online on March 5, 2025, through GovEase. Registration begins on February 3, 2025, at 9:00 AM ET and closes on March 3, 2025, at 5:00 PM ET. The auction starts at 10:30 AM ET on March 5, 2025.

Terms of Sale

Washington County sells the properties as is with no warranties.

The starting bid will include all delinquent taxes, penalties, fees, and court costs.

A one-year redemption period applies to all properties. If redeemed, the buyer will be refunded the full bid amount plus 12% annual interest.

Payment is due by 4:00 PM ET on March 6, 2025. Acceptable payment methods:

Certified check, personal check, money order, or cash (No credit cards).

You must provide proof of funds from a financial institution to register. The letter must be dated February 3, 2025, or later.

How to Participate

Register at GovEase – Bidders must register and gain approval by March 3, 2025, at 5:00 PM ET.

Upload Proof of Funds – You must provide a valid bank letter confirming the funds.

Bid Online – The county will conduct the auction in three-minute bidding rounds.

Winning Bidders – Submit your payment by March 6, 2025, at 4:00 PM ET.
