Roane County Tax Sale Information

Roane County will hold its annual Delinquent Property Tax Sale on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the Roane County Courthouse. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and close at 9:50 a.m., with the auction starting promptly at 10:00 a.m.. Participants must complete a registration form, submit a W-9, and provide valid identification, such as a driver’s license.

Terms of Sale

Parcels will be sold as is, without warranties on title or condition. The highest bidder must pay in full following the auction, with payment instructions provided before the sale.

How to Participate

Register in person at the courthouse before 9:50 a.m. on the day of the auction.

Complete a W-9 form and present a valid ID.

Review the parcel list, available about a month before the sale online or at the Clerk & Master’s Office (printed copies are $5).
