De Baca County will host its annual Delinquent Property Tax Sale on June 11, 2025, at De Baca County Auction, 248 E Avenue C, Fort Sumner, NM 88119. Registration begins at 8:30 AM, with the auction starting promptly at 9:00 AM.

Terms of Sale:

Successful bidders must pay in full by the end of the auction using a money order, certified check, or cashier’s check.

The minimum bid amounts for properties vary depending on the item.

The sale extinguishes all delinquent taxes, penalties, and interest on the property at the time of sale. However, it does not extinguish other liens.

The Property Tax Division will issue deeds to the registered bidder, and a successful bidder does not have the right of entry to the property until receiving the deed.

A Federal IRS Redemption period of 120 days may apply to some properties.

Register at the auction site with your full name, mailing address, and phone number.

Deeds will be issued to registered names only; conveyances to other parties are the buyer’s responsibility.

Registration will close promptly at the start of the sale.
