Chicot County Tax Sale Auction Information

Chicot County will host its annual Delinquent Property Tax Sale on August 12, 2025, at the Second Baptist Church, 1032 Old Warren Road in Monticello. Registration takes place onsite prior to the sale, and the auction begins promptly at 10:00 a.m.

Terms of Sale:

Buyers must pay the full purchase price immediately after the auction.

The Commissioner of State Lands accepts payment by personal or business check, cashier’s check, money order, or credit/debit card.

Cash is not accepted. Credit/debit payments incur a non-refundable processing fee.

Buyers must come prepared with the full amount in an accepted form.

Each successful bidder will receive a Purchaser Summary.

A Limited Warranty Deed will be issued and recorded upon receipt of full payment.

How to Participate:

Arrive early to complete registration.

Bring a valid photo ID and be ready to bid. Bidders must register in person at the auction site to receive a bid number.
