Madison County Tax Sale Auction Information

Madison County will conduct its annual Delinquent Property Tax Sale on August 21, 2025, at the Inn of the Ozarks Convention Center – Walnut Room, located at 207 W Van Buren, Eureka Springs. The auction begins at 10:00 AM, and all bidders must register onsite before the sale starts.

Terms of Sale:

Buyers must pay the full purchase price immediately after winning a bid

Accepted payment methods include:

• Personal or business check

• Cashier’s check

• Money order

• Credit or debit card (4% non-refundable processing fee applies)

Cash payments are not accepted

The Commissioner will record and mail the Limited Warranty Deed after full payment

Effective July 1, 2023, parcels sold through the Commissioner’s office cannot be redeemed after the sale — all sales are final

How to Participate:

Arrive at least 30 minutes early to register with a valid photo ID

Fill out a bidder registration card to receive your bid number

Bring exact payment — no grace period for obtaining funds after the auction

Review the Buyers Guide and auction brochure in advance

Research each parcel using:

County assessor’s office records

Legal descriptions and sale numbers in the auction catalog
