Clare County will host its 2025 annual Delinquent Property Tax Sale on Friday, August 22, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM EDT. The auction will be conducted online only through www.tax-sale.info. Registration must be completed at least 48 hours before the sale to ensure bidding access.

Terms of Sale:

Full purchase price must be paid within 5 business days of the auction.

Payments accepted by certified check, cashier’s check, debit/credit card, or wire transfer (a 2.75% fee applies to card payments).

A 10% buyer’s premium and a $30 deed recording fee apply to all winning bids.

All property is sold as-is, where-is based only on the legal description. No refunds are issued.

Quitclaim deeds will be issued; title insurance may require a Quiet Title Action.

Deposit Requirement: Place a $1,000 pre-authorization hold on a Visa, MasterCard, or Discover card, or submit a $1,000 certified funds deposit by mail.

Bidding Options:
Online Bidding: Bid live during the auction via www.tax-sale.info.

Absentee Bidding: Available for those without internet access. Call 1-800-259-7470 for assistance. A $1,000 deposit is still required.

Property Research: Review property details, maps, and photos online. Inspect only from outside—entry into buildings is prohibited and considered trespassing.
