Alamosa County Tax Information

Alamosa County will host its 2025 Treasurer’s Deed Tax Auction on April 2nd, conducted online at www.govease.com. Registration for the April 2nd auction starts March 19th. The auctions will begin at 8:00 AM MT and continue until they sell all parcels.

Terms of Sale:

Payment Method: Wire transfer only (no debit/credit cards).

Deposit Requirement: You must submit the full deposit for the amount you intend to spend via wire transfer before we approve you to bid.

Refunds: If you do not win, we will process refunds within seven business days and return them to the same account used for the wire transfer.

Important: You must address all taxes and junior tax liens with your Treasurer’s Deed application.

Legislative Changes: Recent changes may alter the process and rules surrounding Treasurer’s Deeds, so stay informed and be patient as they are adjusted.

How to Participate:

Registration: Register on GovEase by visiting www.govease.com. Submit your deposit and complete all required documents to get approved for bidding.

Payment: Make the full payment within 1 day after the auction concludes.
