Clark County OH – Tax Deed Auction

Clark County Tax Information

Clark County will host its Delinquent Land Tax Sales Auction on October 18, 2024, and November 1, 2024, at Judge Carey’s Courtroom on the 5th Floor of the Municipal Court Building located at 50 E. Columbia St., Springfield, Ohio 45502. Both sales will begin promptly at 10:00 AM.

Terms of Sale

Bidding starts at the minimum bid unless directed otherwise by court orders.

Successful bidders must pay in cash or check, along with a 1.5% poundage fee at the conclusion of the sale.

Buyer beware: They sell the properties as-is and are final.

Deeds will be prepared once confirmation is received from the Clerk’s Office. Deed processing typically takes two to four weeks after confirmation.

How to Participate

You must register in person before the sale at the location.

The official list of available properties for sale is posted in the Springfield News-Sunday for three consecutive weeks prior to the sale. It is also available on the Clark County Sheriff’s website and in the lobby of the Common Pleas Courthouse.
