Delaware County Tax Sale Auction Information

Delaware County will host its annual Judicial Tax Sale on May 15, 2025, at the Government Center, located at 201 W. Front Street, Media, PA 19063. Registration will be held in person at the Tax Claim Bureau Office at the same location two to three weeks prior to the scheduled sale dates. The auction will start promptly at 10:00 AM.

Terms of Sale:

The highest bidder will purchase the properties for cash or certified funds.

All sales are final; no refunds will be issued.

Pay the $1,000.00 registration fee by certified check or money order; this fee is non-refundable

Successful bidders must finalize payments by noon the following day.

No transfer of title may occur until payment is received in full, including all applicable taxes and fees.

The Tax Claim Bureau offers no guarantees regarding the condition or title of the properties.

Bidders must comply with all conditions of sale and applicable laws.

How to Participate in Delaware County:

Registration:

Register at the Tax Claim Bureau Office, 201 W Front St, Media, PA 19063

Only the first 120 bidders can register.

You must pay the non-refundable $1,000 registration fee by certified check or money order.

You must also pay a $25 application fee at the time of registration

Prepare Documents:

Complete the Bidder Application and Bidder Affidavit before registering.

Submit the necessary documentation and ensure all forms are notarized.

Research Properties:

Properties are advertised in The Chester Spirit and The Delaware County Legal Journal.

Listings will be available at least 30 days before the sale.
