Duval County will host its next Delinquent Property Tax Sale Auction on September 10, 2025, online on the Duval County RealTaxDeed Auction Site.  They require registration to participate. The sale will begin promptly at 9:00 AM ET. The sale will continue until all tax deeds scheduled for the day have concluded.

Terms of Sale

A non-refundable deposit of $200 or 5% of the bid (whichever is greater) is required. You must deposit before the auction using ACH (electronic check) or wire transfer. Deposits can also be paid in person at the Clerk’s office by 4:00 PM ET the day before the sale.

The remainder of the bid, along with a recording fee of $10, a proof of publication fee of $18.50, and documentary stamp fees of $0.70 per $100 of the winning bid, is due by 4:00 PM ET the following day.

Acceptable payment methods include cash, cashier’s check, money order, wire transfer, or deposit payment.

How to Participate

Register: Bidders must register online at the Duval County RealTaxDeed Auction Site to obtain a username and password.

Deposit: They require a deposit of $200 or 5% of the anticipated winning bid (whichever is greater) to participate.

Bidding: Auction participants submit their highest acceptable bid using a proxy system. This system automatically enters a bid of $100 higher than the next highest bid until your maximum is reached. If two identical bids are submitted, the one entered first is given preference.

Winning Bid: The winning bidder must remit the remaining balance and fees by 4:00 PM ET the following business day to the Clerk’s office.
