Grayson County will host a public auction for delinquent real property taxes on April 15th, 2025, at 11:30 AM. The sale will take place at The Crossroads Institute, located at 1117 E. Stuart Dr., Galax, Virginia 24333, with both in-person and online bidding options available.

Terms of Sale:

Properties will be sold as-is, where-is, and if-is, with no warranties or guarantees.

The sale will be confirmed by the Circuit Court, and the Special Commissioner has the right to reject unreasonable bids.

The seller will convey properties by Special Warranty Deed, subject to any rights of record, easements, and restrictions.

The highest bidder must pay in full at the auction or within 7 days of the auction closing for online bidders.

A 10% buyer’s premium (minimum $150) will be added to your winning bid.

In-person bidders must pay in full at the auction via personal check, cashier’s check, or money order.

Online bidders must register at For Sale At Auction and submit payments via certified funds, cashier’s check, money order, or wire transfer within 7 days.

How to Participate:

In-Person Bidders: Attend the auction at The Crossroads Institute in Galax.

Online Bidders: Register for free on For Sale At Auction. If you have limited internet access, contact (540) 899-1776 for assistance.

Payment: Bidders must pay via certified funds after the auction ends. Online payment instructions will be provided.
