Gwinnett County will host its Delinquent Property Tax Sale on October 7, 2025, at the Gwinnett Justice & Administration Center, 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville, GA. Registration begins two weeks before the sale at the Tax Commissioner’s Office, with the auction starting promptly at 10:00 a.m.

Terms of Sale in Gwinnett County:

Payment must be made in certified funds (cash, cashier’s check, or certified check) on the day of the sale.

Winning bidders receive a receipt and a tax deed recorded in their name.

A 20% premium applies to redemption payments made within the first year following the sale.

How to Participate:

Pre-registration: Opens two weeks before the sale at the Tax Commissioner’s Office. Complete the Bidder Registration Form in advance and submit it in person.

On Sale Day: Arrive no later than 9:45 a.m. to receive your bid number. Late registrants will be placed in the afternoon session if available.

Bidder Requirements: Bring a completed registration form and a valid photo ID.
