Key Auction Details:

Date: Tuesday, April 7, 2026
Location: Online at the Harrison County Tax Auction Site
Start Time: 10:00 a.m. CST
End Time: 2:00 p.m. CST

Terms of Sale:

Registration Requirement: All bidders must register online at least 24 hours before the auction at mvbataxsales.com. To register, provide a government-issued ID, or if bidding on behalf of a business, upload the necessary authorization documents.

Payment Terms: Successful bidders must complete payment by 4:00 p.m. the following business day. Payment can be made in person or via overnight delivery to MVBA Law Firm in Longview, TX, or through wire transfer (contact MVBA at (903) 757-5757 for details). Cashier’s checks or money orders should be payable to MVBA Law Firm, Trustee.

Redemption Rights: Properties may be subject to a statutory redemption period. Homestead, agricultural, and mineral properties have a two-year redemption, while other properties have a 180-day redemption. During this period, previous owners may reclaim the property under Texas Tax Code redemption terms.

Property Condition and Liens: Properties are sold “AS IS,” without warranties. Buyers assume responsibility for verifying property conditions, legal descriptions, and any outstanding liens or municipal fees. Harrison County does not guarantee property title, and securing title insurance may be challenging.

How to Participate:

Register and Confirm: Complete the online registration at least 24 hours before the auction begins. Upload a government ID (for individuals) or authorization documents (for businesses) to complete registration.

Prepare for Payment: Ensure you have cashier’s checks or money orders ready, as each property must be paid for separately by 4:00 p.m. the next day.

Bid in Real Time: Bidding starts at 10:00 a.m., and if bidders place new bids in the final two minutes before the auction closes, the auction will automatically extend by two minutes. We will display the final end time for each auction online.
