Karnes County will host its Delinquent Property Tax Sale on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at the Karnes County Courthouse, located at 101 North Panna Maria Avenue, Karnes City, TX 78118 . Registration starts on-site the morning of the sale, and the auction will begin at 10:00 a.m.

Terms of Sale:

Tax‑delinquent parcels sell “as is,” without warranty.

Successful bidders use cash or cashier’s check to pay immediately on sale day.

Buyers receive a constable’s deed; the county does not guarantee title.

Properties hold a redemption period under Texas law (typically 6 months for non‑homestead, up to 2 years for homestead/agricultural use). If redeemed, the buyer receives the paid amount plus treble interest, typically a 25% premium within the first year. 

How to Participate:

Register in person before bidding begins. Present a valid photo ID at the courthouse.
