Licking County will host its Foreclosure and Tax Sale Auction on October 17, 2024, at 10:30 AM ET. The auction will be conducted online through the official public Sheriff’s Sale website, hosted by Realauction, in compliance with Ohio law. Properties will be sold individually, and registration is required in advance to participate.

Bidders can make deposits via ACH or wire transfer ahead of the auction by specified deadlines. Full payment of the winning bid, along with fees such as state documentary stamps and recording fees, is due by 10:00 AM the next business day following the sale.

Register: Create an account on the Licking County Sheriff’s Auction Website.

Make a Deposit: Submit the required deposit based on the property’s value.

Bid: Use proxy bidding or live bidding during the auction. They will Auction Only one property at a time.

Final Payment: Winning bidders must pay the balance by 10:00 AM the next business day.

No Minimum Bid: If a property does not sell during the first auction, a second auction may be held without the minimum bid requirement.
