Future taxes: You pay taxes beginning January 1, 2026 on purchased parcels.

How to Participate

Option 1 — Online bid (recommended if you can’t deliver in person):
Create an account at the auction portal, select your parcel(s), enter your highest bid (at or above $831.00), agree to terms, and submit. If you win, the office emails payment instructions; you must pay in full within seven days.

Option 2 — Sealed written bid (in person or by mail):
Pick up the catalog and Binding Purchase Contract / Sealed Bid form from the Treasurer, complete every field (Item #, PIN, bid, date, buyer name and contact, signature), include full payment, and deliver each bid in its own sealed envelope marked SEALED BID. If you mail, allow enough time for the bid to arrive before the last day to bid shown in the catalog.

Pro tips before you bid:
Run a parcel search and check redemption/history, zoning and code status, and any demolition or nuisance actions. Walk the area from a public right-of-way. Verify access and utilities. Keep copies of your bid and payment.
