Mobile County Tax Sale Auction Information

Mobile County, Alabama will host its annual Tax Lien Auction on May 12, 2025, conducted online at GovEase.com. Registration begins on April 4, 2025, at 11:00 PM CST and ends on May 6, 2025, at 5:30 AM CST. The auction will start on May 12, 2025, at 8:30 AM CDT and continue until 4:00 PM CDT each day until all liens are auctioned.

Terms of Sale:

Bidders must pay a 10% deposit on their approved bidding amount during the registration process.

Payment for successful bids must be completed through GovEase.com within two business days following the auction.

You purchase the tax lien at the lowest interest rate offered.

The county grants the tax lien certificate holder the first right to purchase subsequent delinquent tax liens for the following year.

Bidding will start with a 12% interest rate and decrease by 1% increments until no further bids are placed.

Register online at GovEase.com between April 4 and May 6, 2025, and submit the required documents and deposit.

After we approve your registration, you can start pre-bidding on May 5, 2025, at 11:00 PM CST.
