Monroe County will host its Delinquent Property Tax Sale on September 25, 2025, at Beth El Heritage Hall, 406 Perry Street, Helena. Registration opens at the auction location, with the sale beginning promptly at 10:00 AM CT.

Terms of Sale:

Bidders must register before the auction begins and present valid photo ID.

Full payment is due at the time of sale.

Acceptable payment methods include personal or business checks, debit or credit cards (subject to processing fees), cashier’s checks, and money orders.

Cash is not accepted.

All sales are final. Parcels cannot be redeemed after 4:00 PM on the last business day before the sale.

The Commissioner of State Lands issues a Limited Warranty Deed after the sale, which may require legal action to secure marketable title.
