Okeechobee County will hold its upcoming Tax Deed Sale on October 09, 2025, at 10:00 AM ET. The sale will be conducted through an Online auction, and bidders must register and submit deposits in advance.

Terms of Sale

The Bidders must pay a non-refundable deposit of $200 or 5% of the winning bid (whichever is greater) at the time of sale.

You must make deposits using cash, a cashier’s check, or an official bank check issued within Florida.

Personal and business checks are not accepted.

The winning bidder must pay the balance of the final bid, recording fees, and Florida documentary stamps within 24 hours of the sale.

You can make payments via cash, cashier’s check, money order, wire transfer, or account deposit.

How to Participate

Register on the county’s tax sale auction website.

Post a deposit with the Clerk’s Office by 4:00 PM ET on October 08, 2025. Research properties before bidding.

You must conduct due diligence. The online auction will follow proxy bidding, with the system automatically placing bids in $100 increments up to the bidder’s highest submitted bid.

Winning bidders must finalize payment within 24 hours.
