Terms of Sale

Deposit Requirement: Bidders must post a $200 deposit or 5% of the winning bid, whichever is greater, before bidding.

Final Payment: The successful bidder must pay the balance of the high bid plus fees (recording fee: $10, proof of publication fee: $18.50, and $0.70 per $100 for state documentary stamps) by 11:00 AM EST the following business day after the auction.

Payment Methods: Accepted forms include cash, cashier’s check, money order, or wire transfer. Ensure all payments reach the Clerk’s Office by the deadline.

How to Participate

Register Online: Bidders must register at Pinellas Real Tax Deed Auction. They require registration to bid and make deposits prior to participating.

Proxy Bidding: Enter the maximum amount you’re willing to bid, and the system will place bids on your behalf, incrementing in $100 steps until your maximum is reached.

Research: Bidders must do their own due diligence. They sell the properties “as-is,” and the Pinellas County Clerk’s Office makes no guarantees on title, property condition, or encumbrances.They highly recommend performing a title search and consulting an attorney before bidding.
