Stevens County will host its 2024 Delinquent Property Tax Foreclosure Sale on December 6, 2024, through an online auction on the GovEase website. This annual event allows qualified bidders the chance to acquire foreclosed properties within the county. All properties listed have at least three years of unpaid property taxes.

Registration: Prospective bidders must register on the GovEase website and meet qualification requirements before the auction begins.

Terms of Sale:

Registration & ID Requirements: All participants must register on GovEase, providing a valid government-issued ID. The registered name must match the grantee on the deed.

Bidding Process: Properties are sold to the highest bidder through an open auction. Payment must be completed immediately following a successful bid by cash or cashier’s check.

Minimum Bid & Payment: Minimum bids cover owed taxes, accrued interest, and foreclosure costs. The winning bidder must pay all additional taxes and liens accumulated after the foreclosure date.

Deed Issuance: The County Auditor’s Office issues deeds within 30 to 60 days after the auction, records them, and mails them to the registered bidder’s address.

“As-Is” Sale with No Warranty: All properties sell in their current condition, and we provide no warranties, guarantees, or refunds. It is up to each bidder to conduct thorough research on property conditions, liens, and restrictions.

Research Requirements: Bidders should verify all property details, including location, physical condition, and legal descriptions.. Easements, private road access, and any restrictions on usage are the responsibility of the buyer to confirm.

Bid on Auction Day: Log into the GovEase platform on the auction date to place bids. Make sure to complete your payment immediately after you win a bid.
