Tuscaloosa County, Alabama will host its annual Tax Lien Auction on April 29, 2025, starting at 9:00 AM CDT. The auction will be conducted online at GovEase.com. Registration is open from March 27, 2025, at 8:30 AM CDT to April 28, 2025, at 4:30 PM CDT. Pre-bidding starts on April 28, 2025, at 8:30 AM CDT.

Terms of Sale:

Bdders must pay a refundable deposit of 10% of the amount they wish to be approved to spend before they approve the registration.

The bidders can only make payments via ACH/e-check or wire transfer.

The bid clock will run for 30 seconds per bid, with 1% bid increments.

The highest bidder must pay the total amount of taxes, interest, penalties, fees, and other costs associated with the lien, plus a $5.00 certificate fee.

You must make payments within 1 day after the auction ends via GovEase.

How to Participate:

To participate, register online through GovEase.com by submitting all required registration documents, including a bank letter.

After approval, you can participate in pre-bidding starting April 28, 2025.

Ensure you submit the required 10% deposit via wire transfer or ACH/e-check to complete registration.
