Westmoreland County will host its annual Delinquent Property Tax Sale on Monday, September 8, 2025, at the Commissioners Meeting Rooms, Courthouse Annex 1st Floor, Greensburg, PA. Registration will be open at the Tax Claim Bureau 10 days prior to the sale, with the auction starting at 10:00 AM.

Deeds are issued to the highest bidder after the sale.

Buyer’s premium: 10% added to the final bid price.

No redeeming of properties after the sale.

The sale extinguishes the delinquent taxes but not any other liens on the property.

How to Participate:

Pre-registration is required and must be done 10 days before the sale via the Tax Claim Bureau website.

Bidders must pay a $25 fee at the time of registration.

The Bidders must ensure you are not delinquent in paying property taxes anywhere in Pennsylvania, nor have municipal utility bills outstanding for more than one year.

You must sign an affidavit stating that you are not acting as an agent for a barred participant and that you meet all legal requirements.

Bidders must complete the registration in person at the Tax Claim Bureau office; they do not accept registrations by email or mail.
