Tuscarawas County will hold a tax foreclosure auction on May 8, 2025, in the lobby of the Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office. Registration and bidding procedures are set by Realauction, with the auction starting at 10:00 AM EST.

Terms of Sale:

Deposit Requirements: A deposit of $2,000, $5,000, or $10,000 (as applicable per property) must be submitted by bank wire transfer or ACH. To participate in the sale, you must ensure that you receive deposits by 5:00 PM EST, two business days before the sale for wire transfers, or by 4:00 PM EST, five business days before the sale for ACH deposits.

Final PaymentPlease submit all remaining balances by cashier’s or certified check, payable to the Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office, directly at the Sheriff’s Office.

How to Participate:

Register Online: Interested participants must register with Realauction and complete the Purchaser Information Form. Bidders must meet the deposit requirements to be eligible to participate.

Attend In-Person: For tax foreclosures, bidding occurs in person at the Sheriff’s Office lobby at 10:00 AM EST. Please process your deposits in advance if you intend to bid.

Review Property Listings: Properties open for bid at least seven days prior to the auction on Realauction’s Tuscarawas County Auction Page.
