Etowah County will host its annual Tax Lien Auction on May 1, 2025, at 8:30 AM CDT. The auction will take place online via GovEase, with registration open from March 21, 2025, at 8:30 AM CDT to April 21, 2025, at 1:00 PM CDT.

Terms of Sale:

Registration: Complete all required documents for registration. GovEase will review and approve your registration once submitted.

Deposit Requirement: All bidders must submit a 10% deposit of the amount they want to be approved to spend. For example, if you want an approval limit of $1,500, you will need to deposit $150.

Payment Methods: You can only make deposits via e-check/ACH or wire transfer. Credit and debit cards are not accepted.

Refunds: They will issue refunds 7-10 business days after completing the auction. will process the refund through the same payment method used for the deposit.

Pre-bidding: Pre-bidding opens on April 30, 2025 at 8:30 AM CDT.
